Smokey Joe is a 12-year old Welsh/QH cross. This is Sarah’s very first horse & her grandparents gave her a gift certificate for a massage for Smokey Joe as a birthday present. Smokey Joe is multi-talented. He is a lesson pony & does ring work as well as pleasure riding on the trails. After all of that hard work, he really enjoyed his massage & entered “the zone”. |

Gjafar or “Gi” , is a 10-year old Icelandic gelding. Gi is Connie’s new mount for trail riding & she wanted to welcome him to her barn w/ a massage. Blue, also owned by Connie, is a 21- year old Tennessee Walking horse who is a cribber & in Connie’s words, "full of anxiety". As you can see w/ the progression in the photos, he was able to totally relax as I worked on a substantial muscle spasm in his neck. And Connie was very pleased that he did not crib while I massaged Gi – instead, he watched & actually let out some nice, deep sighs as he awaited his turn.
